After the success of XP tournaments, Spaace is officially introducing dollar-based tournaments, with rewards paid in $SPAACE tokens.
This marks a new phase for competitive events on Spaace:

XP tournaments aren’t going away.
But from now on, most major tournaments will be dollar-based, with XP tournaments appearing occasionally depending on the event.
First Tournament: $50,000 for Top Traders
Our first dollar-based tournament will distribute $50,000 in rewards, paid in $SPAACE tokens, to the top 50 traders.

- Reward pool: $50,000
- Winners: Top 50 traders
- Metric: BUY trading volume on Spaace
- Leaderboard: Global, live during the event
- Eligibility: Minimum 1ETH of trading volume
- Distribution: Rewards are calculated in USD and will be distributed in $SPAACE tokens

How Rankings Work (Simple by Design)
The tournament ranking is intentionally straightforward:
- Only BUY volume on Spaace counts
- Only trades executed during the tournament window are included
- The higher your volume, the higher your rank
- Rankings reset for every tournament
When users have similar volumes, clear tie-breakers are applied to ensure a fair and deterministic leaderboard.
No tricks. No hidden multipliers. Just performance.
XP Still Matters
Dollar-based tournaments do not replace XP mechanics.
You still earn XP through:
- Quests
- Battle Pass progression
- Marketplace activity
- Occasional XP-based tournaments
